Forging crane wheel description:

Forged wheel set is mainly used for crane with large load and severe working conditions, such as metallurgical crane, quenching crane, etc.

Forging wheel is a kind of classification of forgings, mainly used in gantry crane, bridge crane, mining machinery, light rail car also has applications. Also known as: traveling wheel, crown wheel, wheel forging.

Forging wheel group is to use forging machinery to produce plastic deformation on metal blank, and to obtain certain mechanical properties and shapes.

In the forging process of forged wheel, the defects of loose as cast metal produced in the smelting process can be eliminated by forging, the structure of structure can be optimized, and the complete metal flow line can be maintained at the same time. Therefore, the mechanical properties of the forged wheel group are much better than the cast wheels of the same material. We usually use free forging for the forged wheels with large size and small batch, and die forging is the main method for the wheels with small size and large batch.
